I am now a computational neuroscientist. I love it. It’s the only thing I’d like to be doing on this planet.

Working on Class Performance

Katie entered her sophomore year feeling like she was getting a handle on MIT. After receiving one of the lowest scores in the class on her first exam in introductory neural computation, a core subject in her major, Katie questioned her path and her judgement. Enacting the failure plan that she had made for herself, Katie took time for self-care and reflection, so that she could more calmly reach out to her professor and TAs for feedback on her study strategies.
