Pradeep: Reflecting on Work Values

PRADEEP: I found articulating my work values to be a helpful tool to identify what kind of problems or work that I want to be doing. So articulating what good work means to you, what kind of work is exciting, and also what your work is supposed to accomplish in the world, having answers to these questions clear in your head can be a pretty helpful way to identify work that is exciting to you, because when the work that you’re currently doing does not align with your work values, that can lead to a lot of stress and frustration. And having those clear in your head and aligning your work values with your work can lead to a really good and positive graduate school experience.
