Magdalena: Cultivating Compassion

MAGDALENA: I think that meditation is like being conscious and aware of everything in every moment.

And through meditation I begin to be more grateful. I’m practicing gratitude. And it’s like, it was like a chain. So, and it began with being aware of my privilege, of a lot of things that were going on in my life, or is going on with my life.

And, yes, and feel more empathy. And I began to be less judgmental with everyone, with myself, and with others. Like, I can be very harsh with me and with others. So it really was a turning point in my life.

And I started meditating in London when I was struggling with the classes, with the English, with all my responsibilities. So it was like an awakening in every possible sense.
