Evan: Practicing Self-compassion

EVAN: So one thing that I’ve realized over time is that even the strategies that you try to employ to help you through a struggle are not perfect, because you’re not perfect. I’m not perfect. Nobody’s perfect.

And I think one thing that I’ve recognized recently is that is OK. It is OK to give yourself a little self-compassion, give yourself a break. Because no matter what you’re trying to do, it’s OK if it fails and messes up.
